Robin is a writer, comedian and lovable smart-ass. Her passion is to make people laugh. Her stand-up style is accessible and smart. A lifelong student of pop culture, Robin draws on that knowledge and weaves it with incidents from her own life.
Robin has written and produced sketches for Sketchworks,
the premier sketch comedy theater in metro Atlanta and has taught sketch writing at the introductory through advanced levels.
She is a co-founder of Joke Pony, a collaboration of writers and actors who produce sketch videos that poke fun at pop culture for a web audience. And she is a co-founder of “The Black Nerd Show,” along with fellow comedians Taj Turner
and Cris Gray
and musician Noah Pine
She can be seen performing stand-up in Los Angeles and Atlanta. In 2012, she was a finalist in the Atlanta Improv's talent search for comedians, judged by the Improv's legendary founder Budd Friedman.
Before joining the entertainment industry, Robin worked as a journalist at several major metropolitan newspapers, reaching the the level of Managing Editor at the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
Oh, and she often surprises folks by speaking Chinese ... and about the cheese? Muenster is her favorite.
